PLAY CRAPS WITH A PARTNER

It is common for a novice dice controller to concentrate so much attention on throwing the dice correctly that they neglect their betting. Even seasoned pros can go so deep into the zone that betting is all but ignored. I can provide two examples of this.

On a recent trip to Atlantic City at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino, I found myself at the craps table. I had not played in quite a while and felt that my dice controlled throw may be a little rusty until I could get grooved back in. I was playing with two other dice control friends but we did not pool our money for team or partner play. I placed a pass-line bet as the dice came to me and I began my dice control throw. I established a point number of six. I held the dice for quite a while and had around 25 to 30 throws. Nine of the throws were EIGHT. The friend to my left had placed the eight and each time I hit it he raised his bet one unit and collected profits along the way. At the end of my throw he had made several hundred dollars. I made nothing, as I forgot to bet other than the pass-line. I was so wrapped up with my controlled throw, wanting to stay in my zone and make my friends money that I did not make any other bets for myself. I never made my point six before throwing the seven out. My friend told me later I hit every box number multiple times, but never hit the six. He bought dinner that night and said my dice controlled “signature” or STS was one of the tightest he had seen in a long time.

On another occasion, playing with a fellow dice controller who is known for his ability to go deep into the zone, we pooled our money and played as partners. I wanted him to stay in the zone when he was throwing and not be distracted by having to keep up with his money and complicated bets. When he is in the zone he throws a lot of numbers and we make a lot of money. By me making all the bets and sticking with the “rules of engagement” that we established prior to our session, he could totally relax with no other thoughts but to employ his experienced dice control skill. He throws, we collect the profits. It is a beautiful thing! This play method can often throw off the “suits” they think he is not using his dice control technique to take advantage of the casino. The “suits” watch the money come to me and pay less attention on what he is doing, because he’s only betting the pass line. It makes the “suits” think the shooter does NOT know what he’s doing.

I recommend that you not reveal to the table crew that you are partner/team playing and using advantage dice control techniques. But this does not mean that you have to avoid talking to one another. You can still talk and have a good time and you will have a great time as you rack up wins. After your team play session, it’s great fun to split up the profits.
